There's something I want to say:
First I want to tell you a little story 
My husband passed away some years ago
At that time I thought my life is meaningless
I didn't care about anything
Then one day I　got a call from my friend XX
She decided to start an english conversation class at UCSB
And she asked me to help her
And I said: "No, I　was not interested,
I didn't know anything about teaching"
She said, "please help, I just need more people in the room"
I said: "I am sorry, my car didn't work" 
"I can pick you up in ten minutes"
Then she picks me up to the classroom.
And I　looked at the people and talked with those students
And I thought this is wonderful
Later I talked with her: "I wound like to help you"
This is the day my new life begins
.....
Today I want to thank each and everyone of you who
gives me my life back, thank you!

PS: I was a visiting student at UCSB from 2005/11 and 2007/08, and I reallly enjoyed the time from Mrs. Baker's english class.  Thank you, Mrs. Baker and we still missing you. (From Frank)
