I remember when Auntie Reba would invite her students to her home for baking chocolate chip lessons followed by a hearty lunch enough to feed an army. She was like a little girl who had seen a shooting star for the first time...sincerely excited, too excited to even eat! "Auntie Reba why aren't you eating?" I asked. She responded with her lovely smile, "I'm not hungry. I am happy that the students are here enjoying themselves". Once in a while she would set up a table filled with items (books, kitchen ware, etc) and would hold a raffle making sure each student had something from the table to take home. She would always say, "The Good Lord has been so kind to me." Auntie, in return you have been so kind to all of us. Thank you for paying it forward.
